Surgical Treatment Of 10 Cases Of Ruptured Aneurysm Of The Sinus Of Valvsalva

Objective: This study was to summarize the experience of the surgical treatment of ruptured aneurysm of the Sinus of Valvsalva .Method: From 1998 January to September, 10 cases with ruptured aneurysm of the Sinus of Valvsalva under the surgical treatment, including the earth repair of the aneurysm and the correction of the associated abnormalities. The repair be accomplished by approachings of the chamber of origin(the aorta) and the chamber of termination. The closure was accomplished using a Dacron patch.No treatment was perpormed to the case with mild aortic regurgitation,and aortic valvuloplasty to moderate cases and aortic valve replacement(AVR)to the severe. Result: The results of repair was excellet.followed up for 14-46 months,cardiac function of the paitent recoverd to class I-II in NYHA. Conclusion:Following diagnosis of ruptured aneurysm of the Sinus of Valvsalva,surgical repair should be performation as quickly as possible, and the associated abnormalities should be corrected as well for optimal results.
