| Background:Abdominal aortic aneurysm is a common life-threatening diseases, the emergence of the traditional surgical treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm plays a vital role in achieving a radical abdominal aortic aneurysm, but because of its surgical increased trauma high-risk surgery, slow recovery after a series of factors, many elderly patients at high risk of this surgical treatment can not be good to EVAR abdominal aortic aneurysm should be shipped out. Objective:Comparative efficacy of conventional surgery and EVAR treatment to abdominal aortic aneurysm. Methods:The clinical data of 33 patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm treated by conventional surgery(n=26) and endovascular repair (n=7) were analyzed controlled. Patients conditions, operative hours, blood loss, function recovery and postoperative complications were compared. The objects which do not fit the normal distribution of data using non-parametric test of rank test (P<0.05 it has significant statistical difference). Results:When there was no significant differences observed in sex, age, correlated other diseases, aneurysm diameters between the two groups(P>0.05). The patients who underwent endovascular repair had significant reductions in operative time, blood loss, ICU time and postoperative hospitalization stays(P<0.01). But there was no significant differences in complicating rate and survival rate between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions:Endovascular repair has marked merits such as reduced trauma, short postoperative hospitalization stays and early functional recovery. Especially, it is suitable for the patients who can not undergo conventional surgery. |
