Theory And Experimental Study In Treating RA With Wangbitong

Lijie is a kind of autoimmune disease,we call it as rheumatoid arthritis in modern medicine. It is very common in clinical work,but because of its high mutilation rate,it is hard to cure.In clinical work,TCM has express dominantposition on this disease,so explore its mechanism has become the hot point.Based on following TCM theory,We established warming the channels and stopping bleeding,expel wind evil and remove wetness evil,replenish the vital essence to remove heat as the main principle on treating RA.We select Decoction of Cinnamon Twig, White Peony Root and Common Anemarrhena Rhizome and rearrange its component to be a new one-Wangbitong,to treat RA.We successfully replicate the adjuvant arthritis rat model,and observe the change of rat on immunological function, related proinflammatory factors and ankles to explore the mechanism of treating secondary crippling of RA with Wangbitong.The results show that Wangbitong can relieve secondary crippling of AA rat model, adjust immunity,decrease the IL-1B and TNF level in rat serum, repress hyperplasia of synovial fold, reduce pannus, lighten cartilage destruction.The middle dose group's effect on AA rat model is perfect.So Wangbitong is a effective,safe,and reliable TCM compound.The research has reveal the mechanism about treating RA with Wangbitong,and make a stable foundation for further research.
