Objective:After intracerebral Hemorrage(ICH), there is edema in the brain near the hematoma, but the edema's degree and prognosis are close related to the ICH. Endothcline(ET) and Nitroloxide(NO) is the regulate factors of organ part blood flow in the latter years, under the physiological conditions, both ET and NO are kept in a balance, so that the tensility of the brain blood tubes shoud be kept normal. When the cerebral edema after ICH, there lies unbalance of ET and NO, which promote the generate of the. beain edema. The study is that explore the process of the brain edema after ICH and the the edema is related to ET and NO, at last we find the best treat plan which eliminated the brain edema. Methods: The content of plasma ET, NO and CSF ET, NO were Detected in 50 basal ganglion ICH patients after 1d, 3d, 7d, 14d, at the same time minitored hematoma and edema amount, through CT and CSF pressure level, and comparedwith 20 healthy pelope content plama and CSF ET, NO, The statistics methods are t-testing, analysis of variance and correlation. Results: Firstday after ICH, the plasma and CSF concentration of ET was significantly increased to those normal volunteers (P< 0.001); The plasma concentration of ET was supreme in 3 , 7d after ICH. The plasma concentration of NO was significantly dropped in the first day after ICH (P<0.001), and was the lowest in 3, 7d. The CSF concentration of NO was significantly increased ( P <0.001) ,and was supreme in 3, 7d after ICH. There were positivecorrelation among hematoma amount, CSF pressure level, content of plasma and CSF ET,content of CSF NO (P<0.05) ; negetive correlation between edema amount and content ot plasma NO (P< 0.05) .Conclusion: ET and NO may be involoved in the pathologic process of edema after ICH, while edema after ICH lead to change of concentration of ET, NO,so enhance brain damage near the hematoma.
