Objective To study the effects of Salvia Miltiorrhiza and venin(ahalysantinfarctarctasum) on cancerohepatometastasis after the resection of colorectal cancer. Methods The model of cancerohepatometaslasis after the resection of colorectal cancer was employed in nude mice. Mice were randomly divided into 4 groups:control group given saline, treated groups given Salvia Miltiorrhiza, ahalysantinfarctarc-tasum, Salvia Miltiorrhiza and ahalysantinfarctarctasum resp-ectively. Numbers of liver metastasis nodes and the expression of ICAM-l on the surface of liver metastasis nodes were compared. Results 5 nude mice had liver metastasis control group or Salvia Miltiorrhiza and ahalysantinfarctarctasum group and 4 nude mice had liver metastasis in Salvia Miltiorrhiza group or ahalysant-infarctaretasum group. Numbers of liver metastases were decreased in treated groups than that in control group(P<0.05). Numbers of liver metastases and the ICAM-1 expression on the surface of liver metastasis nodes were positive correlation(P<0.05). Conclusion Anti-adhesion drugs can reduce numbers of liver metastases and afffect the development of colorectal cancer liver metastasis , The mechanism may be down-regulating the ICAM-1 expression of cell of colonic neoplasms. |
