Study On The Expression Of GSH Modulates ICAM-1 In Rat Liver After HPM Irradiation And The Protective Effects Of GSH On Liver Injury

As a new high-energy electromagnetic radiation,the use of HPM extends increasingly,especially on national defense field.Every country,especially the developed country think highly of the use of HPM.Injury of HPM irradiation be caused not only by direct large dose exposure in war time,but also by low dose exposure in veapon manufacture,training and process of production.Biological effect of HPM irradiation divide into heat effect and non-heat effect,and the heat effect is main in the biological effect of HPM.Liver is maximal metabolism and immune organ,because of abundant water content,liver is hypersensitive to heat effect of HPM.Previous studies indicate that HPM irradiation can cause liver injury;The liver pathological features include hyperemia,edema,infiltration of inflammatory cells,hepatocellular degeneration or necrosis.At the same time,with the changes of hepatic function.ICAM-1 belongs to immunoglobulin superfamily,is essential in mediating cell adhesion,is expressed on various cell surface,main participate cell adhesion,inflammation,cell differentiation,developed regulation,antigen presentation and T cell activation,cytotoxic effect.ICAM-1 has important effects in inflammatory reaction and immune reaction. Previous multitude study indicate,ICAM-1 PLAYS a important role in hepatic injury caused by various kinds factors,but the expression of ICAM-1 has not yet been reported in rat liver after HPM irradiation. GSH is a tripeptide containing hydrosulfidegroup,composes of aminoglutaminic acid residu,2-amino-3-thiopropionic acid residue,aminoacetic acid residue;Concentration of GSH is highest in liver, GSH participate amino acid transport, glycometabolism and adjust DNA synthesis in cell,and has important effect in rivalrying exogenous poison, oxygen free radical damage, adjustment of immunologic function, sustain cell protein structure and function, suppressing apoptosis of cell.
