Evaluation Of TCD CDFI And MRA For Diagnosis Of Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency In The Elderly

Objective: To explore the objective and precise diagnosis method for the Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency (VBI) in the elderly.Methods: The TCD CDFI and MRA of 42 cases with VBI with 3 days from the last onset of symptoms were investigated and compared with control groups.Results: In the VBI group ,the sensitivity of TCD is 64.29%, CDFI is 90.48%, MRA is 71.43%. The combination of TCD and CDFI make the sensitivity improve 97.62%. The sensitivity of the combination of TCD CDFI and MRA is 97.62%.Conclusion: The combition of TCD and CDFI improve the sensitivity of diagnosis of VBI. It is a good and valuable method to extend in clinical application.
