OBJECTS:The motion-induced fatigue is one of the blight to the army which can affect their battle effectiveness when they are crossing the sea to try landing and fight. In order to get aware of the character and its probable mechanisms, to find some way to resolve this problem, we studied the effects of the experimental seasickness on the performance of the mice, and the effect of the nutrients-herbs mixture on the fatigue induced by experimental seasickness. We also studied its probable mechanisms.METHODS:1. Effects of the experimental seasickness on the performance of mice. Twenty mice were divided into two groups, to detect the effect of thesimulated motion stimulation on the mice's pica. Sixty mice were divided into two groups, the control group (CG)and the simulated group(SG). The SG was divided into three small groups and received different degrees of the simulated motion stimulation respectively, and the CG was divided into three small groups accordingly. The stimulation continued for four days altogether. On each day the learning or memory grade as well as the swimming time were examined right after the stimulation was finished from the second day.Twenty rats used as model were divided into two groups: the control group(CG) and the stimulated group(SG).The index such as weight and food intake and the pica, serum glucose glycogen, lactate LDH were evaluated.2. Effects of the nutrients-herbs mixture on experimental seasicknessinduced fatigueNinety mice were divided into six groups : low dose nutrient-herbs mixture supplemented group(LG), middle mixture supplemented group(MG), high dose group(HG), and the normal control group(NCG), the water supplemented group(WSG) and the laedimenhyd inati supplemented group(LIG).The study and memory and the swimming time were examined right after the mice were stimulated by the simulator.Thirty rats were divided into nutrients-herbs mixture group(NHMG), LIG and WSG just like the mice. Right after the forth day's stimulation ,the rats were sacrificed and the serum glucose glycogen lactate LDH ATPase as well as the content of the NA , DA 5 -HT in the brain stem and hypothalamic were detected.RESULT:1. The model of experimental seasickness of miceThe pica of the mice showed that the experimental seasickness model was a success.2. The effects of different degree of simulated motion stimulation on the mice's performanceThe achievements of the mice of learning all decreased compared with the CG. And the degrees correlate with seriousness of the stimulation. The memory achievement also decreased. The swimming time keep nearly unchanged with the lighter stimulation while shorted remarkably with the stronger stimulation.3. The effects of the simulated stimulation on some biochemical indexes The simulated stimulation can induced the pica of the rats. And it alsoleaded to the slower of the rats grew; the serum glucose increased significantly, while in the muscle and liver the glycogen decreased remarkably, the serum lactate and lactate in the brain increase too, while in the muscle it decreased. The activities of the LDH in the serum dropped significantly.4. The anti-fatigue of the nutrient-herbs mixture on the experimental seasickness miceThe ability of the learning in WSG and LIG LG is significantly lower than those in NCG; The MG 's achievement is significantly better than the LIG and LG, the HG got the similar result as the MG. The mark of the memory is lower in the WSG and LIG than N CG, and is higher in MG than WSG and LIG, just near the CG. The HG is similar as the MG again. The swimming time are significantly longer in the MG and HG compared with WSG and LIG, while quite near the NCG.5. The effects of the nutrient-herbs mixture on some biochemical indexesThe kaolin intakes are much lower in the NHMG than in the WSG, suggests that the nutrient-herb mixture got nearly equal anti-seasickness effect to the laedimenhyd inati. Some indexes such as serum glucose ?serum lactate and muscle g...
