Objective:To observe the effect of diabetes intensive education in commprehensive treatment of Type 2 Diabetes patients.Methods:186 cases of T2DM patients were classified as diabetes intensive education group(IE) and general education group(GE) by randomized one-blind control method. "Diabetes Lecture on Wednesday" was given to GE and IE patients, but diabetes intensive education was only accepted by IE. Then diabetes knowledge scores(DKN) were recorded at the begining and the ends of one month and three months. Morever, daily calories, times and intensity of active exercises ,the levels of plasma glucose(FBG,P2hBG) and urinary glucose(UG) per week and HbA1c,TG and TC monitoring were performed. At last, DKN,self-care abilities and metabolic conditions were compared with before and between IE and GE.Results:The self-care abilities in IE were improved moresignificantly at the ends of one and three months than those before and in GE. The scores of DKN were higher and the levels of HbA1c, TC, TG, FBG, P2hBG, UG, etc were improved(P<0.01).Conclusion:Diabetes intensive education can enhance the understanding of T2DM and effectively improve the complianc-e of commprehensive treatment and self-management for patients,so as to positively influence their metabolic conditions. |
