| Objective: To discuss diabetic peripheral neuropathy ( DPN ) the pathology mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM), put forward the academic new viewpoint of treating diabetes from spleen theory , point out that Qiyinlianxu , Luomaiyuzu is the major pathology mechanism of DPN, establish Yiqiyangyin, Huoxuetongluo's treatment rule and Zhouluotong's prescription. Through experiment research observe Zhouluotong treatment for that streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic rats's role, and with Methycobal tablets , diamicron carry out curative effect comparison, expound the role mechanism of Zhouluotong treat DPN. Method: Animal experiment adopt streptozotocin ( STZ ) bring out diabetic rats model, use respectively Zhouluotong with Methycobal tablets , Diamicron treat , surveying rats potable water 8 weeks later with medicine to measure , appetite, weight and the etc. generality index of blood sugar; Survey the rats electrical value of stimulus threshold; Survey the rats sciatic nerve's motor nerve conduction velocity ( MNCV ); Survey red blood cell's warp and gather ability and blood viscosity; Survey rats's index ofsaccharification hemoglobin and the saccharification serum globin; Survey rats sciatic's Na＋,K＋-ATPase active, to discuss DPN machinemade. Result: 1 Researches showed that it was measured that model group and each treatment organize rats potable water and appetite have different level increase was obvious reduction ( P < 0.05 ) high , weight presents , with blank compare group compare ,have notable discrepancy. Make mould ２ week after, with blank group compare , the model group and each treatment group rats on an empty stomach blood sugar have obviousness increase is notable discrepancy highly. Generality index shows that diabetic rats presents obvious potable water to measure , appetite grow , weight alleviate ,it is suitable to eliminate the Xiaokezheng. 2 Researches showed that with blank group comparing , model organizes and each gived medicine group the rats electrical value of stimulus threshold, have obvious reduction ( P < 0.05 ) , in the Zhouluotong's big , Middle, little dosage group curative effect is better than Diamicron group , Methycobal group and alliance using medicine group, there were notable discrepancy, 8 weeks later the electrical value of stimulus threshold is respectively 17.0±2.0 mA, 16.4±1.9 mA and 16.3±1.6 mA ( P < 0.05 ). Research showed that the diabetic rats MNCV of sciatic nerve is reduced obviously slowly , is treated 8 weeks later, in Zhouluotong's big , Middle , little dosage group curativeeffect is better than Diamicron group , Methycobal group and alliance using medicine group, nerve conduct speed rises obviously , shortens obviously STZ rats nerve conduct incubation period , has significance discrepancy ( P < 0.05 ), 8 weeks later the MNCV of sciatic nerve were respectively 53.16±3.37 m/s, 52.93±2.41 m/s and 52.77±1.67 m/s, but model group , Diamicron group , Methycobal group and alliance using medicine group were respectively 44.42±2.16 m/s, 47.19±3.65 m/s, 48.63±1.82 m/s and 50.45±4.00 m/s.
