| Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of YiShenTongXiao oral liquids for the treatment of esophageal carcinomaMethod:60 cases (according to the diagnostic criteria of esophageal carcinoma)were randomly divided into treatment and control group with 30 cases each. The control group were given CF/5-Fu-DDP or DDP-PYM-VCR chemical therapy for 3 weeks;the treatment group were given the same chemical therapy and YiShenTongXiao oral liquids,and the treatment course of traditional Chinese medicine is 1 month.The clinical effects were evaluated after two courses. Results:objective effectthe effective rates of treatment group was 63.33%which had no significant difference compared to the control group.The stability rate of treatment group was 96.67%which was superior to control group(P<0.05).The effective rates of main symptom in treatment group was 80% which was also superior to control group(P<0.05).Life quality was better in treatment group than control group.This oral liquids can obviously improve the decreased immunal condition which is due to the carcinoma burden and chemical treatment,can reduce the side-effects to marrow and gastrointestin by chemical treatment.Conclusion:YiShenTongXiao oral liquids can inhibit the progression of carcinoma,can improve the symptoms,life quality and immunal ability.lt can also reduce side-effects and reinforce the therapeutic effect of chemical therapy.
