Alciholism is a major and devastating health problem with an unknown etiologic basis, especially for thrombosis. The question of whether the amount of drinking is the major determinant for the development of thrombosis continues to receive extensive attention throughout the world and people have made some progress. In several studies, consumption of alcohol has been shown to be associated with graded risk of thrombosis. But others present studies imply a beneficial interventive effect of daily consumption of alcohol. This study is to research the relation between alcohol and blood-stasis identification, which is equal to thrombosis in modern medicine. In a blinded experiment, 652 volunteers were recruited as part of the study of Alcohol and Blood-stasis Identification intiated in 2000. we have them (including 556 alcoholics and 96 nonalcoholics ) filled down questionnaire, and then analysis their venous-blood mainly in following mechanisms: hemorheology, hemodynamic, platelet, the shape of vascular and endothelium, etc.The result shows that there is a quality -effect relation between alcohol consumption and thrombosis .which is procressed by following mechanisms, hemorheology, hemodynamic, platelet, the shape of vascular and enthdothelium. Alcohol also promote the development of blood-stasis identification, dampness-heat identification, yin-deficiency identificatioa In any case, these are challenging new findings which require considerable follow-up study before they can be fully understood and before the improved understanding can be implemented To determine clearly the relation between alcohl consumption and blood stasis identification, we' 11 make retrospective study and prospective study. So that we can find a regulation to guide people's alcohol consumption and make preparing of thrombosis.
