Objective The authors reported the treatment of fracture of the thoracic ?lumbar vertebrae using combination of Harrington rod and dick systems, and discussed the value of the combination of Harrington rod and dick systems . Methods The transpedical screws had been replaced Harrington' slower clasp. The combination of the bar and clasp had been used to treat in 48 patients . Results All fracture had satisfactory reduction. Thirty six patients had been followed-up for 6 months. Twenty梥even patients had score ascended by the Frankel' s score .
