| To set up a database management system of quality-control of artificial heart valve is an important research project with great usefulness. It not only helps to found and improve the artificial valve industry of our country, but also is benefit to our society and economy. In this paper, we first carefully analyzed the requirement of market, then did an in site investigation of the produce field, and got some advice from the quality-controllers. At last we set up this database management system of quality-control of artificial heart valve based on LAN.The manufacture of artificial valve is on the cross-edge of many disciplines. During the course of processing and producing the artificial valves, it is very necessary to monitor, store and manage the important data safely and reliably, and it is also very important to improve the productivity and prevent substandard products from entering merchandise circulation so as to jeopardize the lives of patients. For this reason, we set up a database management system of artificial valve based on LAN, which can do the job of input, statistics and analysis of data and supply manager with data for decision making.We chose Windows NT 4.0 as the server NOS(Net Operation System). We also chose SQL Server 7.0 as the Client/Server database management system, for that it is more powerful than other ordinary desktop database system and it supplies more powerful background supports for the implementation of multi-user operating specified database. The LAN was set up using the Y-connection mode that is easy for maintenance and debug. TCP/IP protocol was chosen as our network protocol because it is easy for the network development. The foreground of this software was developed on the Microsoft O+6.0 integrated development system. We employedthe object-oriented technology, which has the advantages in expanding, reusing> opening, and maintaining the software. Vector diagram instead of bitmap was used to display the components, not only reducing the storage space of data and improving the transmission velocity of data, but also making it easy to distinguish; ATL and OLE DB were employed to make it faster for the connection between clients and the server; the algorithm codes were developed on the principle of permutation and combination and optimum arithmetic, by doing this we solved the problem of optimum assembling of the valves > the inner annulus and the outer annulus of the artificial heart valve.It has been proved by experiments that this system supplies both reliably quality-controlled parameters of the production of artificial valves and reliably evidence for scientific decision. Tt also improves the productivity, greatly cuts down the assembling time and reduces the work intensity of workers and product costs. Moreover, it sets the stage for the no-paper management of the original data, besides the analysis and tracking of the products' quality. |
