ABSTRACT In order to study the mechanism and curative effectiveness of the KangNing Hu Xin (KNHX- II ) on alleviating the hypercoagulability of the blood,vasospasm and improving vascular endothelium injury after the re-opening of the coronary artery in acute myocardial infarction cases, we established on rats the myocardial infarction and ischemia-reperfusion injury models. The agents taken were normal saline, normal-dosage of KNHX- II high- dosage of KNHX- II ,aspirin and mixture of KNHX- II and aspirin(MKA)- II respectively, we learned the results by measuring the functions of the coagulation system fibrinolytic function and determination vascular of active mass. The results demonstrated that normal-dosage and high-dosage of KNHX- II can increase the concentration of nitric oxide(NO)and decrease that of endotheriotoxin(ET) and thromboxane(TXB2) significantly and the effects were enhanced with the increasing of the drugs?concentration. In addition high-dosage of KNHX- II also can enhance the tissue profibrinolytic activating factor and attenuation tissue profibrinolytic inhibition factor ,activating fibrinolytic system to dissolution thrombus, so we drew the conclusion that KNHX- II has a sound function of anticoagulation, alleviating rasospasm and preventing vascular endothelium injury. It can effectively lessen the pathologic damages due to the myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury avoid the occurance of re-infarction after the thrombolytic treatment on AMI.
