Clinical Study On Therapeutic Fffect Of Compound Taoren Soft Liver Capsules On Hepatic Fibrosis Of Chronic Hepatitis B

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Compound Taoren Soft Liver Capsules On hepatic fibrosis of the patients with chronic hepatitis B. Methods 62 patients were chosen according to the standard criterion and randomly divided into two groups, one group (involved 32 cases) treated with Compound Taoren Soft Liver Capsules for 6 months, the other (involved 30 cases) treated with Ganlike for 6 months as control. Result In the treatment group, at the end of treatment, the hepatic function markers, the hepatic fibrosis markers and the portal hemodynamics parameters all were significantly better, as compared with before treatment. The increase of sera albumin and portal vein blood flow velocity and the decrease of collagen type IV were more significant in the treatment group than in the control group after treatment (P<0.01). Meanwhile, liver biopsy was done in two patients before and after the treatment with Compound Taoren Soft Liver Capsules, which showed obvious histological improvement.
