The Design Of Platform For Multimedia Courseware

With the rapid growth of information technology,Computer has become important tool in all way. Computer Assisted Instruction appers when multimedia computer technology is used in instruction and rapidly develop because of its good effect in practice. This thesis demonstrate the feasibility of designing a platform for multimedia courseware which be very ease to use.Then the thesis introduce the structure,function,usage of the platform and the pivotal technology of designing this platform.The last chapter of thesis is something about combining WEB thechnology to multimedia courseware. 1. The structure of the platform.this platform include 4 modules:edit module,courseware database,controls and dynamic link library,running surport module.these modules are not self-governed but contacted with each other. 2. The function of the platform .This platform adopt standard Windows - interface.It surport drag and drop and WYSWYG.It provid components such as card, button, picture,text,hyperlink,cartoon,sound,video,programe and test question libraryA1l courseware will be made up of these components and need no code. 3. Pivotal technology.Pivotal technology of this platform include 00, audio technology and mp3 format surport, multimedia programe technology, Windows API,multitbread and COM. 4. Typical arithmetic.We introduce some typical arithmetic in the fifth ?? chapter of this thesis.These arithmetics include gradual changed background color aritbmetic,multithread arithmetic in simple cartoon,htyper linke arithmetic and dymaniic mouse surport 5. The conceive of combining WEB technology to multimedia courseware.WEB technology has been mature and can fulfill the need of multimedia surport in Instruction.And courseware base on WEB technology has more predominance than conventional CAl courseware..The main problem is that we have no enough bandwidth.A suit of blue print of network instruction system is put forward in chapter 6.tbis systen include courseware share subsystem,online instruction subsystem,long-range instruction subsystem and long-range monitor subsystem.
