| According to Traditional Chinese Medicine,"phlegm"and "blood stasis"is material basis to produce carcinoma, Jin Long She Oral Liquor has produced a good curative effect which is made from Xiaotan Sanjie Recipe,based on clinical and exprimental study, To investigate effect of Xiaotan Sanjie Recipe on expression of cell adhesion molecule of gastric carcinoma such as CD44,CEA,E-Cad and ICAM-1.Further to investigate mechanism that Xiaotan Sanjie Recipe inhibits invasion and metastasis of gastric carcinomatous cell.Pharmacelltic blood-serum of Xiaotan Sanjie Recipe was made,MKN-45 human gastric carcinoma cell was cultivated. A transplantable ascites tumor model of MKN-45 human gastric carcinoma in nude mice was established, cultivated carcinomatous cell was affected by Pharmacelltic blood-serum of Xiaotan Sanjie Recipe. OD value was determined by MTT method, nude mice of ascites tumour were fed with Xiaotan Sanjie Recipe,then metastasis node of abdominal were detected.by vaccination of gastric carcinomatous cell in caudal vein of nude mice,metastasis node of lung is detected. by using ABC and S-P immunohistochemical method with anti-CAM monoclonal antibody such as CD44, CEA, E-Cad and ICAM-1, the expression of CAM were studied.The main results are as follows:1.OD value detected by MTT method in chinese medicine group was obviously lower than that in control group, The rate of inhibiting tumor in chinese medicine group was 34.35%.2.Both number and weight of tumor node on mesentery in nude mice in chinese medicine group were obviously lower than that in control group,Bothnumber and weight of metastasis tumor node on lung in nude mice in chinese medicine group were obviously lower than that in control group.3.Expression of CD44 in gastric carcinomatous cell in chinese medicine group was obviously lower than that in control group,So Xiaotan Sanjie Recipe can lower expression of CD44 in carcinomatous cell, that adhesion and movement of carcinomatous cell was affected; and metastasis of carcinomatous cell inhibited.4.Expression of CEA in gastric carcinomatous cell in chinese medicine group waw obviously lower than that in control group, So Xiaotan Sanjie Recipe can decreased expression of CEA in gastric carcinoma cell, heterogeneity adhesion was decreased, and metastasis of carcinomatous cell inhibited.5.Expression of E-Cad in gastric carcinoma cell in chinese medicine group was obviously higher than that in control group,So Xiaotan Sanjie Recipe can increase expression of E-Cad in gastric carcinomatous cell,that adhesion among carcinomatous cell was enhanced; and carcinomatous cell to escape from primary tumor tissue prevented; metastasis of carcinomatous cell inhibited.6.Expression of ICAM-1 in gastric carcinoma cell in chinese medicine group was obviously lower than that in control group, So Xiaotan Sanjie Recipe can lower expression of ICAM-1 in gastric carcinomatous cell, that adhesion and movement of carcinomatous cell was affected; and metastasis of carcinomatous cell inhibited.
