Field experiments was conducted in Sheng zhou of Zhe jiang province in 2008 and 2009, effect of different N and K allocated proportion and application of organic fertilizers on growth and quality of oriental tobacco and properties of soil was studied ,the results as follows:1.Enhance the N and K allocated proportion was helpful to the absorption of N in tobacco, and decreased the content of hydrolysable Nitrogen and organic matters in soil; meanwhile, with the N and K allocated proportion enhanced, the content of available phosphorus and available potassium were increased.2.During the whole process of growth and development, plant height,effective leaves and leaf area were increased with the increasing of N and K allocated proportion, but not distinct. The content of total sugar and nicotine in leaves also increased with the increasing of N and K allocated proportion, while the content of total nitrogen was decreased, but when the N and K allocated proportion over 1:2, The content of total sugar and nicotine in leaves was decreased.3.Effect of different N and K allocated proportion on the activity of invertase,glutamine synthetase and the content of chlorophyll was distinct. The result showed that the content of chlorophyll and the activity of invertase had a significantly positive coefficient with the N and K allocated proportion, and the activity of glutamine synthetase had a negative coefficient with the N and K allocated proportion, but not significantly.4.Effect of different N and K allocated proportion on the yield and quality of oriental tobacco was obviously. The result showed that the yield and quality increased with the N and K allocated proportion increased, but D treatment was lower than C treatment; the content of total nitrogen and nicotine were decreased, while total nitrogen had a small change range, the content of potassium in leaves was increased significantly, total sugar and reduce sugar of C treatment was the best, the second was the B treatment. Among the 4 treatment, no matter middle leaves or upper leaves, sensory quality of C treatment was the best, D treatment was the second, A treatment was the worst. 5.Apply organic fertilizers could increase the content of hydrolysable Nitrogen and organic matters in different degree, then it could increase the supply of N in soil; application of organic fertilizers could prevent the phosphorus and potassium in soil were fixed, made the content of available phosphorus and available potassium decreased with the increasing of organic fertilizers application rate. Compared to the control, the activity of urease,sucrase and phosphatase were improved significantly.6.Apply organic fertilizers could promote plant growth, height,effective leaves and leaf area were increased obviously; during the whole progress of growth, total sugar and total nitrogen in leaves had a significantly positive coefficient with the organic fertilizers application rate, but the content of nicotine decreased with the increasing of organic fertilizers application rate.7.Compared to the control, application of organic fertilizers reasonably could enhance the content of chlorophyll in different degree; and the activity of sucrose synthase and sucrose phosphate synthase were improved with the increasing of organic fertilizers application rate.8.Apply organic fertilizers properly had great impact on the yield and quality of oriental tobacco. Apply a certain amount of organic fertilizers could increase the yield and quality significantly, but too much organic fertilizers was harmful to economic characters and commercial grade; apply organic fertilizers also had great impact on the chemical constitutions of cured leaves, no matter middle leaves or upper leaves, the content of total sugar,reduce sugar and potassium increased obviously in leaves of T2 treatment, but the content of nicotine decreased obviously, and the chemical constitutions were coordinately.
