Based on the theoretical analysis, this dissertation proposed some energy-saving measures for aerodynamic systems in conventional wood drying equipment. The air circulating effect of aerodynamic field in wood drying kiln was improved, the drying equipment energy efficiency was raised, and the quality of wood drying was enhanced.This dissertation analyzed the problem of normal and reversing ventilation about axial flow fan. An energy-saving aerodynamic power system solution was proposed for conventional wood-drying plant. One-way axial flow fan which was high efficient, low noisy, low energy-consuming was used as the power source to drive the air flow. The proposal solved some defects of using two-way reversible axial flow fan in conventional wood drying kiln as poor wind arising effect, low efficiency and high energy consumption. The flow parameters in normal and reversing ventilation states were coherent, uniform and stable. Compared with traditional aerodynamic power system, it caused a significant reduction in power consumption during the production process of wood drying.This dissertation analyzed the drying medium circulating characteristics in conventional wood drying kiln and proposed some measures to improve the uniform distribution of drying medium circulating velocities in the wood stack height direction, that is setting a series of lift-type multilevel curved plate airflow guiding devices reasonably on both sides of the wood stack. The medium circulating airways beside the wood stack were separated into several small airways. Through the guiding effect of plates, the medium airflow in each individual small airway was directly supplied to different corresponding height part on the inlet-air side of wood stack, and the medium airflow circulating dynamic characteristics in the stack height direction were improved to a certain extent. Via medium circulating characteristics test to a simulated experimental machine, the results showed that the uniformity degree of medium circulating distribution in the wood stack height direction was enhanced over 35%, and the deviation of airflow velocities was controlled within the range of±20%.
