| The paper studies the influences of different breeding and maintaining levels to the growth of fariway grasses,the turf characters and physical and chemical properties of grass, based on the summary of the golf course fairway turf daily maintenance and management. The conclusions are as follows:1. As for each experimental fairway lawn grass, the monthly relative growth rate gradually rised from May, got to the maximum in August, and started to went down slightly in September. At last, the figures showed the consequence is B>D>A>C.2. Their density, gradually increased with time. The density D is the thickest one. However B hadn't turned green as normal because the grasses did not plant sparsely, whose density is always the thinnest one from the beginning.3. Since May the width of all grasses'leaves gradually became wider with the rise of temperature, which reached its maximum in August, and declined slightly in September. During the period of experiment, the grass roots gradually deepened from May with the rise of the temperature, reached the maximum in August, and became a little lighter in September. As for the monthly average depth of root, D is the deepest, but B is the lightest one.4. The biomass on all experimented units are increased. As the analysis of variance showed that the biomass reached a significant level (p<0.01), and the trend of biomass underground is similar to the aboveground. During the experiment, organism underground got significant difference(p<0.01)5. To deal with the highest leaf water content of turfgrass is treatment D. By analysis of variance, the leaf water content are reached significantly different levels among different treatments (p<0.01). The trend of chlorophyll content is similar to the trend of leaf water content among different treatments, D of chlorophyll content>C> B>A, and chlorophyll content are reached significent different levels among different treatments.6.Turfgrass protective enzymes (POD, SOD, CAT) activity, treatment D is much higher than other treatments. By analysis of variance, protective enzyme activities are reached significant different levels among different treatments (p< 0.05).7.Treatment B of MDA content of leaves is much higher than others, and by analysis of variance, the treatments are reached significant different levels(p<0.05). Treatment D of root vigor> treatment A> treatment C>treatment B. By analysis of variance, root vigor is reached significant different levels among different treatments(p<0.01).8.By the evaluation of testing late turf quality, treatment D shows good resistance to pests and other characteristics in adversity, in addition, its density, coverage, equality and texture are outstanding. By comprehensive analysis, the maintained effect of treatment D is the best way to protect fairway, and its ability to adapt the external environment is strongest. |
