A kind of single slotting reciprocating institution with double crank and connecting rod mechanism has been designed by intensively analyzed the agricultural requirements of tobacco pot seedling transplanting, and the technical requirement of transplant machine design, and the adaptability of other pot seedling transplanting. The main crank and connecting rod mechanism used for transplanting and drilling, the vice one makes transplanting devise rotation in certain rulers when it transplanting and drilling, it used for correction the angle of transplanting devise. The design helps to seedling cups receive seedling and reduce the length of the crank and connection rod mechanism, also it suit for deep and thin transplanting agricultural requirement.The paper established the kinetics model of the mechanism, and analyzed it with computer assistance engineering method, we got move, speed and acceleration characteristic of each particle, and the quiet track and move track curve of the transplanting apparatus in transplant mechanism, and the variety regulation of the center line of the transplanting apparatus relatively to timeThe paper established the dynamics model of the mechanism, and statistics analyzed the force when transplanting apparatus plug into soil by experiment method, we translated the force into equation relative to time with interpolation and curve fitting and combine the result of kinetics simulation, and act the force on the transplanting apparatus. Though dynamics simulation, we found the biggest impact factor as the counterforce of soil act on apparatus be far larger than it's inertial force. We improved the structure of the transplanting apparatus combine with the physics character of the tobacco pot seedling. The result showed that the biggest force and power consume was reduced about 57% and 56% after improvement.
