The present experiment was conducted to study the supplemental effect of crystalline and microcapsule amino acids (lysine and methionine)on the growth performance , physiological functions, serum free amino acid and amino acid composition of grass carp(Ctenopharyngodon idellus). The grass carps, weighing an average of 62.7 g ,were fed with the basal diets added with 0.2% microcapsule lysine,0.3% microcapsule lysine, 0.4% microcapsule lysine,0.15% microcapsule lysine+0.15% microcapsule methionine,0.2% microcapsule methionine, 0.1% crystalline lysine,0.15% crystalline lysine, 0.2% crystalline lysine, 0.1% crystalline methionine respectively, for 97 days. The main results were shown as follows:①Supplemental effect of crystalline and Microcapsule Amino Acids on growth of grass carpThe growth performance and feed coefficient ratios of grass carp fed supplemental amino acid were higher than control but no significant differences (P>0.05), The grass carp fed supplemental amino acid had lower hepatosomatic index ,viscus index and higher condition of factor, muscle and liver protein content than control, The results indicated that: supplemental amino acid could improve the growth performance and feed coefficient ratios of grass carp,it could all so improve meal quality. The grass carp fed added with 0.3% microcapsule lysine has the most growth performance and feed coefficient ratios.The lysine contentce of feed has significant quadratic correlation with the growth performance and feed coefficient ratios.②The leaching rate of amnio acid from feed and supplemental effect of crystalline and Microcapsule Amino Acids on serum free amino acid of grass carpThe leaching rates of microcapsule amnio acid from feed were decread by 5.98%~16.70% compared with crystalline amnio acid. The concentrations of serum free lysine and methionine reached their peaks at 90min after grass carp feeding crystalline lysine or methionine which advanced 30min compared with EAA concentrations peak , The concentrations of serum free lysine and methionine reached their peaks at 120min after grass carp feeding microcapsule lysine or methionine which at the some time with EAA concentrations peak. The results indicated that: crystalline amino acid sbsorbing velocity in digestive tract could be delayed and their availability improved by microcapsuled.③Supplemental effect of crystalline and Microcapsule Amino Acids on amino acid composition of grass carpThe amino acids composition of whole boby has no significant differentce (the coefficient of variation(CV) were 3.20%~6.04%) except proline (CV 17.32%) ;The CVs of methionine, proline and cystine of muscle respectively were 12.75%,13.77% and 21.37% , the other amino acids composition of mucle has no significant differentce (CV 1.99%~3.93%); The CVs of hepatopancreas , arginine, histidine, proline and cystine respectively were 13.74%, 11.90%, 12.46%, 13.92% and 17.41%, The CVs of other amino acid of hepatopancreas were between 5.85% and 8.99%.The results indicated that: Crystal and microcapsule amino acids has no significant effect on amino acid composition of grass carp.④Supplemental effect of crystalline and Microcapsule Amino Acids on physiological functions of grass carpThe grass crap fed with amino acid had higher Hemoglobin content (except 10#), serum SOD (except 2# and4#) GLU,lower AST/ALT, TG,TCHO,HDL-C(except 6# and 7#)compared with control, The results indicated that: supplemental amino acid tend to improve hemoglobin content, immune response and GLU content,depress TG,TCH and ,HDL-C.
