Effects Of The Volatiles Of Five Kinds Of Common Tree Species On Spontaneous Behavior Of Mouse And Physiology Of The Human Body

In order to comprehensive understand health functions of urban tree species, and provide scientific basis for future rational use of urban green trees and the development of its health functions, it also provide a theoretical basis for building enabling urban forest environment for the human body. Five kinds of common urban tree species were object of study, Using mouse spontaneous activity which was widely used in medicine test and human of multi-channel physiological technology scientific evaluated the health function, the results showed:(1) Five kinds of tree species volatiles effected on the spontaneous behavior of mice showed that: Platycladus Orientalis, cypress and cedar showed similar laws, Treated groups compared with the control groups, treatment group of mice excitement increased, exploration and cognitive enhanced, In the pruning branches odor environment the mouse were relatively relaxed during the test, The mice of appetite was not affected, this change was positively correlated with concentration, showing the higher the concentration, the effect more obvious, the difference was more significant; About camphor and Pinu bungeana species, the mouse on the tree species had some bearing volatile odor threshold, Excitability of mice and cognitive abilities were inhibited above the threshold, the leaves volatile odor of camphor appetite also caused a certain effect on mice.(2) Human physiological changes results showed that temperature of the finger significantly increased, oxygen saturation slightly increased, average heart rate, RR interval significantly reduced after sniffing P. orientalis volatile odor. But the temperature of the finger and oxygen saturation significantly reduced, average heart rate slightly changed, RR interval significantly increased after sniffing Camphor volatile odor. So people emotional state tends to relax and feel fresh at P. orientalis environment While the human emotion show tense, unhappy, or even tired in such Camphor environment for a long time.(3) Preliminary results for the study to start some discussions and recommendations:Main component of volatile terpenes of orientalis, cypress, cedar these three species, people feel comfortable,relaxing, refreshing quiet, so these species were suitable for the activities concentrated in the public housing area, work area planted, a large number of used green, not only increased the amount of green, while maintaining the beautiful, aromatic effects; for more strong odor of camphor, instantaneous lead to the irritation, nausea and other uncomfortable feelings, so this is obviously a special smell hardwood species was not appropriate in the public housing area on the large area planted, as a landscape dotted, full view was better.
