Lamiinae, phytophagous insect, belonged to Coleoptera, Many species were the important pests in agriculture and forest production. The composition, fauna and PRA of Lamiinae species in Mongolian Plateau were studied. Results showed that there were 128 species,31 genera in Lamiinae and the numbers of species between genus were very different. The faunistic analysis of Lamiinae in Mongolian Plateau displayed that Lamiinae was the dominate species in Palaeartic, only 86 species, accounting for 67.19%.36 joint species were confined in Palaeartic and Oriental, accounting for 28.13%.4 joint species were confined in Palaearctic and Ethiopian realm, accounting for 3.13%.1 joint species was confined in Palaeartic and Australian realm, accounting for 0.78%.1 joint species was confined in Palaeartic,Oriental and Australian realm, accounting for 0.78%.The investigations showed that there were 121 species,31 genera in Inner Mongolia of China, accounting for 94.53% of all the species of Mongolian Plateau; 78 species 23 genera in Russian, accounting for 60.94%;64 species 22 genera in Mongolia, accounting for 50%.Eodorcadion was the dominant genera in China,Russia and Mongolia. There were 7 species of Lamiinae in Mogolian Plateau which were not recorded in China. Saperda similes Laich. was quarantine pest of China. The PRA analysis of Saperda similes was studied. Results showed that the risk index value was 1.8, S. similes belonged to a moderate dangerous forest pest in China.
