As the main body of the land ecosystem,the forest ecosystem is playing a decisive role in improving and maintaining the ecological environment,meanwhile, it also provides important and necessary resources for human survival.But lack of understanding the main role of forest,the forest resources are seriously damaged increasingly and the global ecological environment is deteriorating.Therefore,understanding correctly and evaluating the benefit of forest environment become a hot spot now , it is also the urgent need for sustainable development of social economy.By studying evaluation of forests environmental value,the value of environmental benefit was embodied in currency.It could not only changing people's understanding of forest environment function,enhancing the consciousness of forest resources protection,and reaching the unification of three benefits:economic,ecological and social , but also providing reference for the policy making,implementing of the protection and sustainable development of forest ecological environment.This thesis launches the research under such background.The composition and system of the forest environment value were illustrated and discussed necessarily.Some theoretical basis on the evaluation of forest environmental value were summarized and the appropriate measure theory was selected basing on the actual needs.The main methods of forest environmental value evaluation were summed up and commented.By analyzing and evaluating the values of various properties of the forest types in reserve such as conserve water,soil conservation,purifying environment and so on,qualitatively researching the function of forest environmental resources in Mangdangshan Nature Reserve and adjusting the assessment results consequentially,the purpose of which was to understand the vital services of forest resources in reserve.Moreover,it was clearly showed that great welfare had been brought by forest,and it maked people aware of the importance of protecting ecological environment.It can provide the basis and reference for the policy making economic compensation.There is great significance for sustainable development of forest in China. The main study conclusions:(1)The maximum value which provided by Mangdangshan Nature Reserve forest ecosystem is $38687.29*104.Through the development phase coefficient,the value is $15582.89*104.The value composition of each category is:the value of soil conservation(29.140%)>the maintenance of biodiversity value(26.967%)> carbon fixation and oxygen release (21.891%)>relaxation value(10.589%)> purifying environment(5.747%)>water purification(3.371%)>water holding(2.289%)>preventing pests and diseases(0.007%).The value of soil conservation is the total value,which is the most and reveals the significance of soil conservation in mangdangshan ecosystem service.(2)The ecological value among different forest types were mainly compared by analyzing five value indications:water holding,conserve soil,water purification,conserve soil,purifying environment,carbon fixation and oxygen release.Ecological value of coniferous forest,which was the most,is 1.37*104yuan/ hm2.The value arrange of different forest types was:bamboo forest> broad-leaf forest> coniferous forest> economic forest.(3)By evaluating the value of forest resources in Mangdangshan Nature Reserve,found that there was vital worth in the ecological system service.Moreover,a case study of the compensation body,compensation objective, compensation criterion and compensation process was carried out on ecological forest,a pilot framework for compensation mechanisms.And some advices and policies,establishment and improvement of ecological compensation mechanism and the development of eco-tourism,are proposed as well.
