In the experiment, taken Caragana korshinkii Kom seeds, Pinus tabulaeformis Carr. seeds, Hippophae rhamnoides L.subsp. sinensis Rousi seeds, Ziziphus acidojujuba C.Y.Cheng et M.J.Liu seeds from Shaanxi Province for research objects, chitosan, carbendazim fungicide, cypermethrin and avermectins insecticide, water retention as the experimental materials, studied the changes of seeds germination, seedlings growth and physiological and biochemical indicators in the treatment of various components separately and then selected seed coating composition of the optimum concentration. Seed coating composition and dosage were determined and these seeds were coated with artificial methods. Then tested coated seeds in eligibility rate and firmness and did the experiment of seed germination. And then coated seeds stored for 1 month at room temperature, measured the changes of seeds moisture and relative conductivity before and after seed storage and did the experiment of seed germination, detected storability of coated seeds. The results as follows:1. These seeds treatment with different concentrations of chitosan solution, could increase the seeds germination, shorten the seeds germination time and increase enzymes activity during germination and promote seedling growth to varying degrees. Different seeds needed different optimum chitosan concentration. The optimum chitosan concentration of Caragana korshinkii Kom seeds from Wuqi, Caragana korshinkii Kom seeds from Yuyang, Pinus tabulaeformis Carr. seeds from Chunhua, Pinus tabulaeformis Carr. seeds from Qiaoshan, Hippophae rhamnoides L.subsp. sinensis Rousi seeds, Ziziphus acidojujuba C.Y.Cheng et M.J.Liu seeds were 1.0%,0.5%,0.1%,0.2%,0.1%,0.1% respectively.2. When these seeds were treated by different concentration of bactericide alone, the seeds germination rate and the seeds germination index were increased slightly, and the optimum concentration of carbendazim was 0.15g·ml-1.3.after insecticide treatment alone, the seeds germination were no significant effect, but the seeds mold rate were significantly lower, and the optimum concentration of cypermethrin, aermectin and mixture of cypermethrin aermectin were 0.03g·ml-1,0.02g·ml-1,0.03g·ml-1 respectively.4. When these seeds were treated by fungicides and insecticides ratio, the seeds germination rate and the seeds germination index were increased significantly, and the seeds mold rate were reduced obviously. Among them 0.090g·ml-1 carbendazim and cypermethrin and avermectin compound is the best choice. 5. When these seeds were treated by some concentration of super absorbent polymer, the seeds germination could be promoted, seedlings growth on the latter were improved to some extent, but also the roots surface area were increased. Among the concentrations of super absorbent polymer in the selected,5%was the best deal.6. These seeds were coated with the selected seed coating, the eligibility of seeds coating of Pinus tabulaeformis Carr. was the largest, with an average of 96%.Hippophae rhamnoides L.subsp. sinensis Rousi and Ziziphus acidojujuba C.Y.Cheng et M.J.Liu minimum, were 88% and 85%.May be related to seed size and seed shape. The firmnesses were all about 92%. Germination test showed that the germination rate of coated seeds and seedlings growth indicators were significantly increased, indicating coating to promote seed germination and enhance seedling quality.7. Coated seeds stored at room temperature after one month, the seeds germination rate, the seeds germination index, the seeds water content and the relative conductivity were all significantly lower. The seeds after coated of this experiment should be immediately sowing; the coated seeds should not be stored.
