The skullcapflavone has antioxidant, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-tumor, meanwhile, it also has the protective effect on immune, digestive, cardiovascular and nervous systems. In this study, the effect of skullcapflavonoid on Broilers'metabolic rate of dietary nutrients, growth in modern pharmacology, serum biochemical, immune indicators and the impact of intestinal microflora, test section as follows.Experiment one: There are 250 a day-old AA broiler were picked, and randomly divided into five treatments with five replicates. Male and female mixed breeding. There are two parts in this test contained pre-feeding period and formal period. In the prior 3 days was pre-feeding period and the last 46 days was formal period. Control group fed eats, the experimental groups were added in the basic diet with skullcapflavone 5mg/kg, 10mg/kg, 15mg/kg, 20mg/kg, respectively. The result shows that skullcapflavone have the positively effect on calcium metabolism, the differences were significant (P<0.05). The other nutrients were no significant (P>0.05).Experiment two: The chickens on 7th, 14th, 21th, 35th and 49th age will to be weigh as the groups. To analysis remain forages, consumes, increased weight in one day and material with increased weight in one day rate. Three chickens was selected randomly from 21th, 35th and 49th age as close average body weights, which could be killed and picked the blood, selected serum. Studies the skullcapflavone have the effect on the meat chick growth performance and the blood serum biochemistry index. The result indicated: the skullcapflavone group compares with the control group have nothing effect on meat chick growth (P>0.05), and skullcapflavone could not increase to GPT, GOT and albumin (P>0.05), but the meat chick blood serum calcium content to have the enhancement (P<0.05).Experiment three: Three chickens was selected randomly from 21th, 35th and 49th age as close average body weights, which killed and studied the effect of skullcapflavone on the meat chick immunity performance. The result indicated: The skullcapflavone could icreased immune organ index which wait for further studies. The skullcapflavone groups IgG content obviously elevates (p<0.05). This result showed that increases the skullcapflavone in the date foods could enhance ability of antibacterial and the anti-virus.Experiment Four: Before the day of end, chose 3 chicks from each repeated group, take a little of fresh feces maintain on the ice box. Fresh feces were diluted within two hours. Our results show that the skullcapflavone inhibited the E.coli and Salmonella growth (p<0.05), could be enhanced by increased the number of skullcapflavone. The skullcapflavone had no effect on beneficial bacteria growth which ensured the balance of intestinal micro-flora.The results obtained: Add appropriate amount of skullcapflavone could increase calcium absorption, enhance the immune organs and immune performance, maintenance balance intestinal micro-flora.
