In order to study the effect of dietary glutamine and L-carnitine on animal against low temperature stress, to offer theory evidence and useful reference for application of anti-stress agent in productive practive, oxidation resistance, hormones, biochemical indicators and rumen cellulolytic bacteria of sheep were studied.Orthogonal test was adopted, and 9 sheep were divided into 3 groups at random and 3 repeats per group. Rumen fluid samples and blood samples were collected at 6:00,9:00,12:00,15:00 and 18:00 after drop in the temperature from 10℃to 0℃. The adding levels of glutamine were 0%, 0.6% and 1.2% respectively, the adding levels of L-carnitine were 0 mg/Kg ,75 mg/Kg and 150 mg/Kg respectively. The phase of pre-feeding was 7 days, the phase of testing was 2 days and the interval was 10 days.The results of the experiment were as follow :1.The effects of glutamine and L-carnitine supplementation on Anti-oxygen index of sheep:The effect of cold treatment time on SOD in blood serum was not significant, Glutamine,L-carnitine and Glutamine combined with L-carnitine could increase SOD in blood serum.The effect of cold treatment time on MDA in blood serum was very significant, Glutamine and L-carnitine can increase MDA in blood serum, Glutamine combined with L-carnitine had the trend to increase MDA in blood serum.The effect of cold treatment time on T-AOC in blood serum was very significant, Glutamine and L-carnitine had the trend to increase T-AOC in blood serum, Glutamine combined with L-carnitine could significant increase T-AOC in blood serum.2.The effects of glutamine and L-carnitine supplementation on Correlate hormones of sheep:The effect of cold treatment time on FT3 in blood serum was not significant,Glutamine had the trend to increase FT3 in blood serum, L-carnitine and Glutamine combined with L-carnitine could significant increase FT3 in blood serum.The effect of cold treatment time on FT4 in blood serum was very significant,Glutamine and L-carnitine had the trend to increase FT4 in blood serum, Glutamine combined with L-carnitine could significant increase FT4 in blood serum.The effect of cold treatment time on Cortisol in blood serum was very significant,Glutamine and L-carnitine had the trend to decrease Cortisol in blood serum,Glutamine combined with L-carnitine could significant decrease Cortisol in blood serum.3.The effects of glutamine and L-carnitine supplementation on Serum biochemical parameters of sheep: The effect of cold treatment time on TP in blood serum was very significant,Glutamine,L-carnitine and Glutamine combined with L-carnitine had the trend to increase TP in blood serum. The effect of cold treatment time on BUN in blood serum was not significant, Glutamine and L-carnitine could significant decrease BUN in blood serum,Glutamine combined with L-carnitine had the trend to decrease BUN in blood serum. The effect of cold treatment time on ACP in blood serum was not significant, Glutamine,L-carnitine and Glutamine combined with L-carnitine had the trend to increase ACP in blood serum.4.The effects of glutamine and L-carnitine supplementation on cellulolytic bacteria of sheep:The effect of cold treatment time on RA in the rumen was not significant, Glutamine had the trend to decrease RA in the rumen, L-carnitine could significant decrease RA in the rumen,Glutamine combined with L-carnitine had the trend to decrease RA in the rumen. The effect of cold treatment time on RF in the rumen was not significant,Glutamine can significant increase RF in the rumen,L-carnitine had the trend to increase RF in the rumen,Glutamine combined with L-carnitine could significant increase RF in the rumen.The effect of cold treatment time on BS in the rumen was not significant,Glutamine had the trend to increase BS in the rumen, L-carnitine could significant increase BS in the rumen,Glutamine combined with L-carnitine had the trend to increase BS in the rumen.Known from change analysis of the effects of glutamine and L-carnitine supplementation on toanti-oxygen ability,correlate hormones,biochemical parameters and cellulolytic bacteria,the optimum diets for sheep in low temperature enviroment was supplemented 1.2%Glutamine,75mg/Kg L-carnitine.
