| OBJECTIVE:To study the effects of butafosfan solutions on growth performance, immune function and development of reproductive organs in broilers.METHOD:180 one-day-old male broilers were randomly divided into 3 groups. There were 6 replicates in each group and 10 broilers in each replicate. Control group (groupâ… ) was injected with saline solusion, Treatmentâ… (groupâ…¡) was injected with homemade butafosfan solution, and Treatmentâ…¡(groupâ…¢) was injected with imported butafosfan solution.RESULTS:â‘ Growth performance:At the 8th week old, the average daily weight gain of Groupâ…¡and Groupâ…¢is higher than that of Groupâ… (P>0.05). Incidence of illness and death rate of groupâ…¡and groupâ…¢are significantly lower than that of Groupâ… (P<0.01).â‘¡Immune function:At the 28th day old, the antibody levels of ND and AI of Groupâ…¢are higher than that of Groupâ… (P<0.01), and the antibody level of AI of Groupâ…¢is significantly higher than that of Groupâ…¡(P<0.01). Compared to Groupâ… and Groupâ…¡, the interleukin (IL-2) level of Groupâ…¢is also significantly improved (P<0.01), but there are no significant differences of IL-6 among three group (P>0.05). At the 56th day old, the antibody levels of ND and AI of Groupâ…¢are significantly higher than that of Groupâ… (P<0.01), but there are no significant differences between Groupâ…¢and Groupâ…¡(P>0.05). And the interleukin (IL-2) level of Groupâ…¢is significantly improved compared to Groupâ… and Groupâ…¡(P<0.05), and IL-2 of Groupâ…¡is significantly higher than that of Groupâ… (P<0.05). There are no significant differences of IL-6 among three group (P>0.05). Indexs of thymus, spleen and bursal of Groupâ…¢are significantly higher than that of Groupâ… (P<0.01). Index of thymus in Groupâ…¢is significantly higher than that in Groupâ…¡(P<0.05), but there are no significant differences in indexs of spleen and bursal. (P>0.05).â‘¢Development of reproductive organs:At the 56th day old, the weight, length, width and height of testis of Groupâ…¢are significantly higher than that of Groupâ… and Groupâ…¡(P<0.01). The testis weight of Groupâ…¡is significantly higher than that of Groupâ… (P<0.05), but no significant differences are observed in length, width and height (P>0.05).CONCLUSIONS:Butafosfan solution could increase the broiler growth performance and survival rate, could reduce incidence of illness and could promote immune function and development of immune organs. It can also improve the development of reproductive organ, The effects of imported butafosfan solution are better than domestic butafosfan solution on growth performance, immune function and development of reproductive organ in broilers. |
