| The accelerated worldwide urbanization process and exacerbated environmental problems have posed a serious threat to human health and survival, so many countries and cities have to develop the urban forest as a new trend of urban development. Urban forest plays an important role in the protection of human health, regulating the ecological balance and improving the quality of the environment, landscaping, which makes the urban forest construction become one of the important contents of harmony between man and nature.According to ecology and sustainable development theory, this study chose Wuhan as an example set up a modern urban forest comprehensive evaluation index system, covering factors like number, structure, function, coordination, through frequency analysis, expert scoring and AHP, in the light of national forest city construction standards. Then, it found out the current inadequacies of the building urban forest in Wuhan, proposed measures and safeguards of forest city, by drawing on the successful case of forest city construction at home and abroad.Firstly, this article has combed and summarized the existing domestic and foreign research achievements on the theory of urban forest, the practice of building urban forest, urban forest evaluation system and analyzed the connotation of urban forest, range, research problems of urban forest areas and development trends; Subsequently this article has elaborated the related concepts of urban forest and basic principles ,and established a comprehensive evaluation index system of urban forest in Wuhan, by selecting indicators through frequency analysis , determining the weights of indicators with Delphi and AHP; Afterwards, this article has calculated and analyzed the value of evaluation index, and found out the urban forest in Wuhan appears a much more reasonable structure and layout, higher-value functions and a better level construction. But the inadequacies are the quantitative indicators like forest cover rate and built-up areas green rate have not yet achieved the standards for national forest city, and the arbor shrub herb incorporates degree indices, the ratio of native trees and the coordination degree of landscape layout are much lower. These mean that in order to improve the quality of urban forest ecological functions and services, not only green area of the forest should be enough, but also the structure and layout need to be rational. Finally, according to the overall and independent analysis of urban forest construction in Wuhan, this article put forward some countermeasures and suggestions, mainly to increase the total amount of forest resources, improve the utilization of native trees, improve forest water network, forest roads network, and forest farmland network, and attach importance to biological diversity, as well as providing policies and laws protection, mechanisms for innovation, and increasing publicity for the construction forests city.The possible innovation of this research consists in that, at a time when Wuhan will join the "National Forest City" ranks, it has a strong novelty and practical significance; it's a reasonable and scientific methods, to analyze the construction of Wuhan forest city, by combing Wuhan City characteristics and evaluation index system of urban forest. |
