"Huangzhou radish" is a native vegetable variety to Hubei province.It is not only high-yield and adaptable,but also having much good characters such as meat quality tight and crisp,high sweetness and tasty.Particularly,characteristics of temper isn't mush and simmer isn't thick soup are deeply accepted by a large consumer approbation fancy.Because traditional preservative methods are laborious,difficult to manage and can't storge in processing of circulation,and restricts development of Huangzhou radish industry.The sprouting of new leaves,growth of roots,weight loss,hollowing and decay,which are major problems during the storage of radish,have adverse effects on the edibility and commodity value of radishes.This test has studied on preservation methods and reasons of Huangzhou radish,and make a preliminary study on the calibration models of hollow for radish with NIR nondestructive detection and analysis technology.The paper mainly researches the preservation method with individual modified atmosphere packaging and the relationship between some main nutritional components,five kinds of enzyme activity and hollow of radsih.The chief results of research are as follows:1.The results showed that after 40 days the radish in the natural normal atmospheric temperature,the germination rate and hollow rate of MH treated,α-NAA treated and control radsih was 23.3%,60.0%,100%;90.0%,63.3%,100%,respectively.From the above we can see that the effect of preventing germination of MH and hollow ofα-NAA were distinct.2.The Huang zhou radishes which dealt with MH andα-NAA before harvested and treated with different concentration gradient of chitosan,and storage 30d in natural normal atmosphcric temperature.The conclusion showed the germination rate of Huangzhou radish applied with MH+1.0%chitosan membrane was least,and the hollow rate of treated withα-NAA+1.5%chitosan membrane is least,20.00%.However,the weight loss rate ranges between 12.08%and 20.34%for test groups,but only up to 13.56%.for control.3.The Huangzhou radish adopted vacuum and plastic and non-vacuum processing, respectively.The preservation effect and physiological biochemical evolutiong were determined during storge.The results showed that after 40d the radish which were packaged with vacuun and were dealt withα-NAA before they were harvested had longer shelf life than others in the natural normal atmospheric temperature.And the rotted rate of radish in this treatement was least,10.0%;the weight loss,the germination rate,hollow rate were also least, 3.4%,0%,10.0%,respectively.On the basis,The preservation effects of different plastics film were compared during storge of Huangzhou with vacuum package in the natural normal atmospheric temperature.The results indicated:after 40d the weight loss of Huangzhou radish packaged with thickness 0.08mm of PE,0.12mm of PE and 0.03mmPA,was 5.03%,3.46%,7.59%,respectively.The results proved that the three kinds of plastic water resistance followed 0.12mmPE>0.08mmPE>0.03mmPA The hollow rate was least of Huangzhou radish packaged with thikckness 0.12mm of PE,only 16.67%;and higher of the soluble sugar and soluble protein retention rate than packaged with thickness 0.08mm of PE and 0.03mm of PA.It is very significant for the developmentof Huangzhou radish industry to study postharvest physiology and technology for storage of Huangzhou radish.4.The variance analysis results showed that the relationship among hollow degree and soluble solid,soluble sugar,fiber,cellulase(Cx) were all significant at 0.01 level.It can be known from correlation annlysis that the hollow degree had marked relationgship on fiber content,soluble solid content,soluble sugar content,water content,cellulase activity.So,the consumption water,soluble solid,soluble sugar,fiber,cellulase,fiber was mounting and cellulase activity was coming down,which were major factors for hollow of radish.5.The 72 samples in two variety of radish were scanned directly with NIR optical spectrum instrument,using 12 kinds of methods of mathematics to preprocessing initial spectrum,and eliminating the abnormal value from testing data.The results showed that the best conventional pretreatment methods was straight line subtraction(SLS),the correction decisive index(R~2),the root mean spuare error of cross-validation variance(RMSECV) and principal component dimension(Ranks) were 92.28%,0.541 and 5.The model can come ture fast nondestructive detction to hollow classes.
