The experiment studied on the edge effect and growth and development of bed planting system in winter wheat under the different level of intensity. The main results are as follows:1 The bed planting system in winter wheat marginal effect is remarkable, the plant height, tiller numbers per plant, leaf area per plant, dry matter accumulation, grain filling rate, effective panicle numbers, grain numbers per panicle and 1000-grain weight of the side rows of intercropped wheat were better than those of interior rows in wheat.2 The yield of side rows wheat of the T1 treatment was 11.93% higher than that of inner rows wheat. The most growth treatment is the T3 treatment, up to 51.74%, the least growth treatment is the T5 treatment, up to 6.15%. The maximum yield of single row wheat is the side row of the T3 treatment, and the minimum yield of single row wheat is the inner row of the T3 treatment; the minimum yield of the side rows wheat is the side row of the T1 treatment, which than the 7.43% low T3 treatment; the maximum yield of the inner rows wheat is the inner row of the T5 treatment, which than the 19.94% high T3 treatment. At the same time, the yield of inner row decreases markedly under high seed rate cultivation.3 The T5 treatment was the highest yield of obtained in this experiment for its better colony structure, harmonious relationship of the population and the individuals. The yield of other treatments wheat significantly increased grain yield compared with the yield of the T1 treatment. Factors in the yield components, spikes, grain per spike and 1000-grain weight for both contribute to the growth of yield, of which the largest contribution to increased spikes.4 The character of light radiation in canopy of all treatments wheat had been studied. The result showed that the crest layer structure of T5 treatment were the best. The LAI and the leaf distribution of the T5 were more reasonable than those of the others. Treatments T5 had a reasonable canopy architecture than others, which accounted for they had intercepted more solar radiation. The NDVI of all treatments showed as a single-peaked curve and the peak value reached at Middle-filling.5 Different treatment on the growth and development of wheat and growth conditions of wheat plant there are different impact. Compared with other treatments, the air temperature of T5 treatment was higher, humidity was lower, but also conducive to the growth of wheat. At the beginning of spreading of flag leaves for all treatments wheat, their SPAD, Pn and WUE increased gradually, and reached the max at the t anthesis, then declined little by little. The T5 treatment had apparent advantages in those.
