In the experiment, the chilling-sensive Soybean Seeds[Glycine max zhonghuang No.22]were the experimental materials. The thesis is to test the changes of antioxidative enzyme and the content of antioxidants in mitochondrias and the synthesize path of ascorbate acid after isolated and purified by differential and sucrose density-gradient centrifugation from the cotyledons of Soybean seeds which were culturated for 48h under the different PEG priming time. The results show that both the germination index and the vigor index were increased. The activity of antioxidative enzyme(GR,APX,DHAR, MDHAR,SOD) and the ratios of ASC/DHA and GSH/GSSG were all expanded. The synthesize site is in the mitochondrias in the seeds. The GLDH which catalyse the synthesization is related to the respiratory chain. It is concluded that PEG osmoconditioning enhanced the seed vigor and promoted the ability of the chilling tolerance;and the the content of ASC.ASC is the signal molecular in the mitochondrias.
