At present, most of the countries in China use the traditional rice presoaking and germination methods, such as vapor germination, germination by machine, germination by heated kang, germination by electric blanket, germination of big pile, and simple germination by plastic canopy and so on. It is very hard for us to control the environmental conditions. Therefore, many problems may rise. For example, the seeds may germinate slowly or sprouted irregularly, and sometimes may be vulnerable to high fever or even may rot. They all may cause great losses to agricultural production, and cause the quantity of the presoaking and germination for each time to be limited. So it is hard to satisfy the modernized large-scale agricultural production demands. In this kind of situation, how to design a kind of rice presoaking and germination product of low cost and practical value, shorten the time of rice presoaking and germination, and improve the quality and quantity of the rice presoaking and germination become the core and the goal of our task.The paper analyzes environmental factors such as temperature, humidity and the oxygen, which influence rice presoaking and germination, and points out that humidity is the critical factor for this special greenhouse. According to the main environmental factors, the paper designs the structure of the greenhouse and fixes the cladding material of the greenhouse. Through calculating the heat load of the greenhouse heating, it also designs the heating and wetting installment for the greenhouse, with an introduction of the arrangement of it.The paper has finished the design and the development of the controlling system of the greenhouse for rice presoaking and germination. With W78E58B single chip microcomputer as the control core, the hardware of controlling system has SHT11 humidity sensor and PT100 platinum thermal resistance sensor as the humidity measuring component. The signals gathered by the sensor are magnified, transformed by A/D and then transmitted into single chip microcomputer for processing, which gives orders to each function part of the controlling system. The hardware design includes the design of power circuit, the design of temperature measuring circuit of the seeds, the design of humidity metering circuit of the greenhouse, the design of juncture circuit of the single chip microcomputer and the X25045 CMOS chip, the design of patulous I/O juncture circuit, the design of keyboard circuit, as well as the antijamming design of controlling system of the greenhouse for rice presoaking and germination. The software of the controlling system applies single chip microcomputer C language in compiling the main program of controlling system of the greenhouse for rice presoaking and germination and shows the program flow diagram and design concept and the operating procedure of the controlling system. The paper offers a specific introduction to each functional part of the controlling system of rice presoaking and germination and finally illustrates the reliability testing method and the result of it.
