Effects Of Twilight On Blossom Characters And Leaf Physiological Parameter Of Adzuki Bean

This experiment was taken in the planting garden which belongs to Agricultural university of Hebei from 2007 to 2008, and chose late - maturing variety adzuki bean Jihong– 4 and early-maturing variety Jihong-8937 for the experiment materials, which are selected by Hebei Province farming and forestry academy of science. Use small arch awning which was made of spatulate bamboo with cloth to cover the twilight from plant cataphyll emerging to the beginning flower, the cloth was sewed by black cloth and red cloth. Four groups to process: cover all twilight, cover the morning twilight, cover the evening twilight, and comparison (natural illumination). Through this study to observe the blossom characters, the plant's shape characters, the leaf physiological characters, and the yield characters. The main study results were as follows:1 Cover the twilight increased the plant's stem diameter, obviously reduced the plant's stem length, and the effect of cover the evening twilight was bigger than the effect of cover the morning twilight. The treatments also caused the length of internode reduced obviously (about 20%)and increased the plant's branch numbers(about 0.3-0.8), but the influcnce to different times had the diversity because of the variety.2 Cover the twilight could ahead of the beginning flower period obviously, the day numbers had difference because of the variety: cover all twilight had the most remarkable effect to the plant's blossom, and the ahead of time was 7 days, the flower promoting rate was 18.9%, obviously ahead of the flower time; when cover the morning twilight, the ahead of flower time was 6d, flower promotion rate was 16.2%; cover the evening twilight, caused Jihong 8937 ahead of 6 days, and caused Jihong 4 ahead of 5 days, the flower promotion rate respective was 16.2% and 13.5%.3 The node of the first flower declined 1-2 nodes when covered the twilight, and the number of the flowers increased obviously; cover the twilight caused the total flower numbers increased obviously, but the fertility rate of flowers was decreased.4 Cover the twilight had remarkable influence on chlorophyll content in certain period, after cover all twilight or cover the evening light, the rate of chlorophyll a and the chlorophyll b was diminished, the content of chlorophyll b increased quickly; From the overall experimental advancement, cover all twilight or cover the evening twilight caused the carotenoid content much higher than cover the morning twilight or the comparison; After cover the twilight, the soluble protein content change was unstable, the difference was not remarkable; cover the twilight had remarkable influence in the experimental intermediate stage to the total content of amino acid.5 Cover the twilight had obvious function for the plant's Agronomic characters in mature period; when cover the morning twilight, the pod numbers per plant were most, the grain weight per plant was biggest, and the plot yield was highest.The results showed that twilight had nonidentity influence on adzuki bean's blossom characters , plant's shape characters, leaf physiological characters and yield characters , realized this characteristic could provide theory foundation for its breeding, introduction seeding, and cultivation measure's improvement.
