In this study ,the genetic diversity in 78 oil flax germplasms from different regions was assessed using morphological characteristics and RAPD markers. And the main results were as follows:1,Ten traits of 78 germplasm resources were analysed using cluster analysis method. A classification system of flax was established. The euclidean of the all germplasm resources was between 0.394-10.709, which was divided into 8 groups:there were 29 germplasms in the first group, while 41 in the second, 2 in the third group,1 in the fourth group,2 in the fifth group,1 in the sixth group,1 in the seventh group, and 1 in the eighth group.2,Optimized RAPD reaction system and suitable conditions were obtained in this study .Analyzed by RAPD techniques, a total of 108 distinct bands were detected with 12 random pimers and 52 polymorphic bands (48.1%) were obtained. The dendrogram constructed by method showed that 78 flax varieties could be divided into 3 groups with genetic distance from 0.013 to 0.897, there were 33 germplasms in the first group, while 39 in the second, 6 in the third group.3,Clustering analysis between morphological characteristics and RAPD markers was highly consistent.4,Genetic relationships and the genetic similarity obtained could help in the selection of parents for breeding purposes and be used for evaluation of variety genetic diversity.
