Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn were added into feed of Hernibarbus macalates Bleekev according to the normal requirement of freshwater fishes. Three concentration gradients were designed with orthogonal test (totally 9 groups), 20 fishes in each group, average weight is 3.09±0.048g. Effect of Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn on the growth performance and physiological function of H. M. Bleekev were studied.1. Optimum combination of Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn is Cu3Fe1Mn3Zn3, also Cu 8.0mg/kg, Fe 200mg/kg, Mn 80mg/kg and Zn 150mg/kg. The real content in feed is Cu24.87 mg/kg, Fe1028.33 mg/kg, Mn 204.00 mg/kg and Zn 142.51mg/kg.2. Fe had the greatest influence on the parameters about weight/body length, viscera index. Mn had the greatest influence on the hepatopancreases index, and Fe was the second, and then was Cu and Zn. Cu had the greatest influence on the relative fatness.3. In this test, high concentration of Cu, Fe, and Zn had adverse effect on the feed intake of H. M. Bleekev, and Zn had favorable effect. Fe had the greatest influence on the feed conversion rate of H. M. Bleekev, and Cu was the second.4. Effect degree on lysozyme activity of skin mucus of the 4 micro mineral is Mn>Zn>Fe>Cu; Effect degree on SOD activity of skin mucus of the 4 micro mineral is Mn> Fe > Zn >Cu; Effect degree on SOD activity of hepatopancreas of the 4 micro mineral is Fe > Cu > Mn > Zn;5. Effect degree on GPT and GOT activity of hepatopancreas of the 4 micro mineral is Fe >Zn> Cu > Mn.6. The 4 micro mineral had great effect on the nutritional components of body and some organs. The result indicated that Mn had great effect on the content of crude protein, crude fat of body, and Mn had great effect on the content of crude protein, crude fat of muscle.7. Fe and Zn had great effect on the mineral sediment. Total body: Fe > Cu > Zn > Mn; Hepatopancrease: Zn > Fe > Cu > Mn; Skull bones and vertebra: Zn > Fe > Mn > Cu.
