Sand regions in the north and upland and ravine regions in the south of Shan-Bei determine that farming is the most important industry in this area.Slope cultivated land accounts for 60 percent of arable land resources,but they have not been fully utilized for a long time,which hamper the development of farming economic.So, Restructuring and optimization of cultivation program are very urgent for farming efficiency improvement.The paper analyses the present condition and the existing problem about farming structure in slope cultivated land region.Based on Extension Theory,the studies show that agriculture,grass and stock raising industry are the prime choice to efficiency improvement.Planning farming structure properly,improving cultivation techniques,developing specialty industry is the leading mode which suits the actual local situation.According to objective optimization analysis,the development of slope cultivated land should base on grass-based industry and depend on specialty industry in order to achieve optimal efficiency,and add some economic crops into cultivation rage will make it better.Moreover,the paper take Heng-shan County which locates at the junction of Yan'an and Yulin city as example to make empirical analysis,which obtains optimization program of farming structure and optimal profit value.Empirical analysis verified the optimization program' feasibility.
