Early in this century,plantation,especially mass of them with the same age will become the dominating timber.There are about 40 million hectare plantation in our country,and the existing plantation is developed based on the crash and productive forest,which will gradually turn into matured(the age for cutting ) in 2 or 3years later,therefore,it is impossible to satisfy the need of modern forestry production relies on just traditional artificial rearing and harvesting technology.To increasing production efficiency of unit labor,the future forestry productions have to transit from labor-intensive into technology-intensive.Furthermore,the fostering of plantation is seasonal,so we have to advance efficiency by mechanization to finish weeding, alternative cutting,training,emergent pest controlling and transportation in the best season. Besides,it is required for the transit of fostering and alternative cutting timber as well as the train of large and middle diameter timber to utilize mechanized equipment because it is impossible by manpower merely to complete correlative task in high quality and efficiency.Joint logging machine will display unmatched power in the plantation task.Thereout,it is the general trends of domestic forestry engine's exploitation and application to tap Joint logging machine with multi-function,good transitivity and applicability as well as notable work efficiency.The paper is supported by the imbursed project of "11th Five-Year Plan of National Science and Technology Support "(No.2006BAD11A15) named "Research and development of multifunctional forest harvesting and fostering key technology equipment",as a part of the project,it mainly finishes the following aspects of work:Consults matured technology and entitative prototype outside,analyses and researches the working and principle of the Joint logging machine(mostly of the manipulators);The virtual design and athletic simulation analysis of Joint logging machine in the computer are implement utilizing computer virtual design and simulation technology;Puts up configuration analysis of working equipment(mostly of manipulators) making use of Finite Element Theory combined with Finite Element Analysis Software,and then makes out structural optimization design according analyzed results.It will provide reference of design parameter for comprehensive and aborative research and design in future by integrating above work conclusion well exerting the advantage of CAE technical and then obtaining corresponding experimental parameters.
