| Purpose:To identify the etiological agent of measles-like infection in rhesus monkey group that has taken place many times in China in recent two years.To find some evidence for preventing and controlling the measles-like infection syndrome in rhesus monkey group of our country.Then,on the basis of this research,preparation of effective vaccine may reduce the economical loss caused by the infection and death of rhesus monkeys.Methods:Because of the symptom of measles-like infection in this time,the identification of etiological agent of measles-like infection in rhesus monkey group is focuses on:1.Paramyxoviridae-Morbillivirus-Measles virus,Canine distemper virus;2.Herpesviridae-Canine herpesvirus.To study and research the causative agent,we take methods of animal inoculation,PCR amplification,sequencing, comparison and analysis,etc.Results:By the methods of animal inoculation,PCR amplification,sequencing, comparison and analysis,etc,we finally accredit the etiological agent of measles-like infection syndrome in rhesus monkey group of this time-Canine distemper virus.Conclusions:The measles-like infection syndrome in rhesus monkey groups which has no evident seasonality in several monkey campuses and zoos of our country during 2006～2008 is caused by the Canine distemper virus infection. |
