Chicken coccidiosis is a intestinal disease caused by the Eimeria coccidiosis.The disease has distributing at most of the farms in our country,it has very serious harmful to the poultry industry And as most of the farm dependent on the surface,easily infection of coccidiosis,for majority of Chicken farmers has led to great economic losses.Author selected the surface of free-range chicken farming households rearing more concentrated along the east,Hengshan,south,Hengyang County and Hengyang outskirts on the Xiang River basin,through the questionnaire diagnosis or autopsy and exam of worm's egg in faeces,investigated the coccidia infection rate in 7 farm,the results show that the yellow chicken coccidia infection rate of 100%,the morbidity rate is 10~85%and the death rate is 1.5~22%,mainly 15 to 35-day-old chicks of morbidity and The highest mortality rates in Hengyang area.In order to better prevention and treatment Hunan chicken coccidiosis provide important data.Through investigated the sub-collecting fecal samples in the farm,one of oocysts isolation,culture and single-coccidia oocysts infection,found that Hengyang area of the main xianghuang chickens infected with coccidia have:E.maxima,E.tenella,E.acervulina,E.praecox and E.necatrix.The author through contrast of Chinese herbal medicines and vaccines combined with the simple use of vaccines,medicine or western medicine methods,found the vaccine and prevention and treatment of the population infected with green plot tenella Disease desired effect.The survival rate can achieve to 100%when coccidia infected chicken used the herbal medicine and vaccine combination to treated,and the survival rate of weight gain and relative rate of 100%and 99.8%,the anticoccidial index is 189.3.Use of the traditional Chinese medicine and vaccine can inhibit the coccidia growth of chicken.
