The Investigation Of Peach Blossom Cultivar Resources In Changde And Study On The Variety Combination To Prolong The Florescence Of Peach Blossom

Because of the national famous scenic spot for seeing and enjoying peach blossoms一"The Peachblossom Land"(Taohauyuan),Changde becomes the city in "The Peachblossom Land".In order to enhance the application level of peach blossom species in Changde,this thesis records the phenophase of current peachblossom species and puts forward a variety combination proposal on how to prolong the peachblossom's group ftorescence after carrying out a typical investigation on the resources of peach blossom species in Changde.The rusult of the investigation about the resources of peach blossom species shows:1,There are 41 kinds of peach blossom species at present in Changde,among which there are 23 local species.A new species was found in Taohuayuan,named "Taoyuanshouxing".18 species have been introduced to the peach germplasm garden of Changde Vocational Technical College.2,Besides 23 local peachblossom species found in Taohuayuan,9 species are generally applied among the 16 sampling points of the four major urban greenbelts.3,Peachblossom species in Changde belong to the South peachblossom ecological family,having the advantages of earlier blossom, longer florescence,enlegant colors,lively patterns and so on.The study on ectention of group florescence shows:1,The hybrid varieties of prunus "BaiHuaShanBi" is the first to enter the best viewing period(March 2), followed by "HeHuan ErSe",5 days later,"WanBai" is the latest(March 27) into the best viewing period during March 11 and 18.2,To sum up,peach blossom,species with the viewing period before March 11 belong to the early blossoming type, blossoming species from March 11 to 20 belong to the middle blossoming type,and blossoming species after March 20 belong the late blossoming type.Among the 34 tested species,four species are the early blossoning species,6 late and the rest 24 middle species.3,The early blossomong species bloom early and process quickly with all average best viewing periods of 10.6 days,obviously 12-17 days earlier than the local florescence.The middle blossoming species has a best viewing period of 13.9 days between March 11 and April 1.the late blossoming species has a best viewing period of 12.3 days between March 21 and April 12.4,Selection of the 24 peach blossom species with longer blossom periods and higher visual value,which are complementary in ornamental characteristics to form a category combination proposal that extend the peachblossom's group florescence helps to prolong the best viewing period for 12 to 17 days with 52 days of group florescence.
