| Pot experiment was carried to study the effects of drought stress on growth of pea capony , physiological indexes of leaves and yield under different stress stages,different stress severity and different stress duration.The results indicated that the compensation effect of capony growth,physiological indexes of leaves and yield were likely to appear after rewatering. The degree of compensation effect depended on stress stages, stress severity and stress duration.The main results were as following:1.The effects on growth of pea capony were different under different stress stages, different stress severity and different stress duration.The degree of inhibition was increased with the increasing of stress severity and the elongation of duration,and the inhibition on growth of pea capony was different under different stress stages.It had the furthest inhibition on the height of plant under long duration and severe stress in seeding stage, the height of plant was only 72.35% of CK. It had the furthest inhibition on the leaf area of plant under long duration and severe stress in flowering stage, the leaf area of plant was only 76.68% of CK.And under long duration and severe stress in filling stage, it had the furthest inhibition on the total dry weight of plant,it was 66.67% of CK.After rewatering,the different degree of compensation effect was appeared on growth inhibition of capony,and the tendency enhanced with the increasing of water degree and duration. Different stress stages had different effect on growth of pea capony.After rewatering,for the mild degree and short duration treatment stress in seedling stage,the growth of pea capony showed enough-compensation.The other stress treatments showed compensation too,but they didn't approach those of CK.2. The effects on physiological indexes of leaves were different under different stress stages, different stress severity and different stress duration.Proline and Malondiadehyde contents in pea leaves were increased with the increasing of stress severity and duration. The maximal contents of Pro and MDA were reached 226% and 181% of CK.After rewatering,the different degree of Proline and Malondiadehyde contents were reduced.The minimal contents of Pro and MDA were only 64.39% and 80.15% of CK.And at the beginning,the content of Pro was decreased very quickly,then was increased a little.The content of MDA was decreased very quickly at first,then was reduced a little (5d stress) or increased a little (10d stress).Proline and Malondiadehyde contents in Pea Leaves had difference between stages with the changing of soil moistrure.The effect on chlorophyl(Chl) content in pea leaves was different under different stress stages, different stress severity ane different stress duration.Chlorophyl content in pea leaves was increased under drought stress except long stress duration in flowering and filling stages, The maximal content of Chl was reached 118% of CK.And the values of Chla/Chlb were differentbecause the effects on Chla and Chlb contents were different under different drought stresse.After rewatering, chlorophyl(Chl) content was reduced .The different degree of compensation effects were appeared.3.The effects on pea yield and some pertinent yield's characters were also different under different stress stages,different stress severity and different stress duration. Compared to different stages,it had the best compensation effect in seedling stage,next was filling stage ,the last was flowering stage.And compensation effect under mild degree and short duration treatment was better than those of severe degree and long duration.It had the best compensation effect under mild severity and short duration treatment in seedling stage.The economic yield was reached that of CK ,and the biotic yield was exceeded that of CK,reached 108% of CK.The other stress treatments showed different degree of compensation too,but they didn't approached to those of CK.And it had the furthest effect under long duration and severe stress in flowering,its biotic yield and economic yield were only 60.94% and 54.11% those of CK. |
