| Forest resource data are characterized with distribution, heterogeneity and diversity. The forestry information systems have been being constructed for years without unified planning and sharing mechanism under the limited computerizing technological development level. So all the forestry information systems have indeed become the forest resource information islands, among which data sharing and exchanging are difficult. Such a status seriously influences forest information resource integration and utilization, which hinders development of forestry informationization.For the purpose of achieving forest resource data distributed management and information exchange, sharing, and integration among departments, this thesis,which is conducted under the Digital Forestry Platform Framework and with various kinds of forest resource data web service as its research objective and with metadata as its core, tends to research on the key problems in distributed management technique of heterogeneous forest resource data based on analyzing the status quo of the research home and abroad on the characteristics of forest resource data and the problems in its application, including forest resource data distributed management architecture,global metadata model,uniform service interface, uniform data and service management, multi-view data discover. A forest resource data distributed management prototype system is developed based on the research results, besides, the related function tests have been implemented so that a feasible and complete solution which is also in accordance with the technical development trend could be presented with the aim of realizing the data integration, exchange, share and application cross-department and at different management hierarchies.The featured research results are as follows:1. Forest resource data distributed management architecture is presented. Based on the forest resource data services, the thesis researches on the composition of system architecture, the relationship of different hierarchical nodes, the function of each layer as well as the relationship between layers. The architecture solves the distributed data sharing in technology, ensures the benefits of the data owners in management and meets the requirements of different application levels.2. The global metadata model is devised. This thesis studies the contents and organization mode of the global metadata model, the relationship between different type metadata and metadata automatic generation technique, and researches into the metadata data access component and metadata Web services. The global metadata model is the foundation of data discovery and uniform access of distributed forest resource data. The metadata aggregation mechanism is studied. Aggregation policy is analyzed and metadata aggregation component and aggregation process are devised which ensures the subnode metadata gather around the central node in an efficient and reliable way.3. Data convert mechanism based on common data element directory is researched on. By clarifying the data specifications and standards, the elimination of the heterogeneity of semantic data provides conditions for data conversion and integration. Uniform service interface is realized. With fewer service data access, metadata access and service management can be achieved in the distributed system. Based on OLAP technology, multidimensional data display architecture and multidimensional metadata model are designed elaborately, which makes search data and multi-view display data conveniently and accurately.4. Forest resource data distributed management prototype system is developed. In this system, core functions are realized, which includes uniform data service, uniform management service, uniform metadata service, global data catalog, service catalog, data and service search, distributed data management, service authorization.The prototype proves the correctness of the research and design, so a conclusion can be drawn that the forest resource data distributed management technology is feasible. |
