In the prosess of cultivating the Gansu modern meat sheep new breed,the main study direction is to elevate the meat yield and quality and meat sheep's economic effect,under this premise,meat wool soutput quality and economic effect.Also it should be considered.This research analyzed and studied the physical characteristic and amino acid composition and ultrastructure of Gansu modern meat sheep new breed wool fiber.The result shows: (1)physical trait:straighten length varies by F1<F2<F3.F3 rams shoulder were 14.33cm±1.96, lateral part were 16.15cm±1.96,thigh were 16.15cm±1.96,ewes shoulder were 13.95cm±1.87, lateral part were 15.23 cm±1.55,thigh were 13.36cm±2.57,shoulder,lateral part and thigh difference was significant(P<0.05).F3 fineness is finest.F3 rams shoulder were 24.36μm±1.60,lateral part were 27.15μm±3.81,thigh were 28.70μm±5.35,ewes shoulder were 23.69μm±2.16,lateral part were 24.42μm±0.17,thigh were 26.82μm±1.40,shoulder, lateral part and thigh difference was significant remarkably(P<0.01).F3 medullated was the least,F3 rams shoulder were(0.75±0.99)%,lateral part were(2.17±2.85)%,thigh were (2.33±1.67)%,ewes shoulder were(0.22±0.32)%,lateral part were(2.37±3.21)%,thigh were (4.97±5.64)%.rams break strength F3 is the strongest,F3 rams shoulder were 10.94 cN±3.75, lateral part were 10.72 cN±3.31,thigh were 15.92cN±5.24,ewes shoulder were 15.03±1.46cN, lateral part were 16.07 cN±3.08,thigh were 17.99 cN±3.02,shoulder,lateral part and thigh differentiate difference was significant(P<0.05).F3 breaking elongation rate is biggest and its three parts difference was not significant(P>0.05).F3 rams shoulder were 49.55±7.69%, lateral part were(48.89±5.42)%,thigh were(48.88±7.40)%,ewes shoulder were (48.74±7.44)%,lateral part were(48.62±6.99)%,thigh were(48.79±5.90)%.greasy-sweat coverage height difference was not significant among three generations and their three parts(P>0.05).F3 grease content is highest and difference among three parts was significant (P<0.05).F3 rams shoulder were 8.72±1.26%,lateral part were(7.39±0.67)%,thigh were (7.27±2.74)%,ewes shoulder were(6.17±3.44)%,lateral part were(7.10±3.48)%,thigh were (5.97±4.28)%.(2) ultrastructure different new breeds of Gansu modern meat sheep have different wool fiber structure and scales lamellar.F1 raws wool were heterogeneous whose histology structure are scales lamellar,lamina cortex,medulla layer,others histology structure are scales lamellar,lamina cortex.Its structure is petaloid ambulacra and lies in the center of wool fiber with the addition of generation,lamina cortex is more developed and more dense. scales lamellar' pattern,arrangement height,density and thickness are different.The third generation scales pattern is completer,smooth,its scales are thicker,less density,breakage extent is slighter.F2 and F3 wool fiber's transverse section is round or elliptical,which is more normal than F1(3) amino acid:the wool fiber of Gansu modern meat sheep new breed is composed of 18 amino acids,their total count and kinds of amino acid are different,the most in it is aminoglutaminic acid(12.79%~15.04%),the next is cystinic acid(8.46%~10.74%) and the least is methionine(0.29%~0.47%).F3 ewes sulfur amino acid is highest and the highest account of cystinic acid is 10.7%,the content order in wool fiber is neutral amino acid>acidic amino acid>basic amino acid>sulfur amino acid.
