The Study Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Compound Polysaccharides On Anti-oxidation Function Of Chicks

Chinese herbal drugs are rarity of traditional medicine, which effective constituents are polysaccharide, alkaloid, glycoside, cerolein, et.al. Polysaccharide exist in cells of animal, plant and microbe widely, it is one kind of four basical substance that make life, and participate in all kinds of regulates of cell vital movement. From 70's of previous century, scientists discovered that polysaccharides have powerful immunological activity, from then on, polysaccharides become the center of Chinese herbal drugs pharmacological research especially immunity pharmacological research. At present, domestic scientists do deeply studies confirm that polysaccharides of Chinese herbal drugs have immunity regulate function, antitumor activity, anti-inflammatory, antiviral activity, antioxidant effect, anti-radiation effect, et.al. of which anti-oxidation function is the focus of polysaccharides research.This study explore anti-oxidation function of polysaccharide, which exact from the traditional Chinese medicine.[Objective]To observe the influence caused by different concentration of traditional Chinese medicine compound polysaccharides , astragalus polysaccharides(APS),angelica polysaccharides(ASP),epimedium herb polysaccharides(EPS) on the activity of SOD,GSH-Px,CAT,GR and the content of MDA in serum of healthy Roman chicks.[Method] To divide 260 one-day-old chicks into thirteen groups at a random distribution and each group has 20 chicks. Then hypodermically inject the physiological saline,traditional Chinese medicine compound polysaccharides,APS,ASP and EPS into the chicks for seven days continuously,and get blood on the 7th,14th,21st,28th,35th and 42nd to test the activity of SOD,GSH-Px,CAT,GR and the content of MDA in serum.[ Result] The result of the experiment shows that the activity of SOD,GSH-Px,CAT and GR is obviously advanced(P<0.05) and the content of MDA lowered after injecting the chicks traditional Chinese medicine compound polysaccharides,APS,ASP and EPS. For the groups which use traditional Chinese medicine compound polysaccharides,the activity of SOD,GSH-Px,CAT,GR in serum is predominantly higher and the content of MDA is predominantly lower.[Conclusion] traditional Chinese medicine compound polysaccharides,APS,ASP and EPS all can promote the chicks'ability of anti-oxidation. Among them,traditional Chinese medicine compound polysaccharides is the strongest.
