Mastitis is a kind of breast inflammatory response which was arised by the stimulations of pathogenic microorganisms, physical and chemical factors. Mastitis mainly happens to dairy cattle, is one of the most common diseases in dairy cows, also one of diseases which do the greatest harms to the cow industry. The harms were represented in the following two aspects: First, it affects the yield and quality of milk, results in sharp drop in milk production and poor quality, decreases the economic interest of dairy industry; second, it threatens human's health.According to incomplete statistics, tile to the end of 2004, the total amount of dairy cows on hand reached 10.63 millions. And investigation showed that the incidence rate of clinical mastitis in cows reached as high as 33.4%, the positive rate of subclinic mastitis in cows reached 73.91% on average, causing direct economic losses as many as 12 billions yuans every year. In United States, the incidence of mastitis was close to that in China. It was easily found that the cow mastitis was seriously restricting the development of cow industry in our country, even that in the whole world. There were many reports on the detection and prevention of cow mastitis pathogens at home and abroad. But the report on the distribution and prevention of cow mastitis pathogens in Jilin region was relatively little. In this paper, milk sample of dozens of cows from several dairy in Jilin region were collected, pathogens were isolated, cultured and identified biochemically, some common pathogenic bacteria were ascertained and were used in sensitivity test to determine the sensitive drugs. At last, some sensitive drugs were picked out and applied clinically, according to the effects of preventing and curing mastitis, some ideal therapeutic plans were made. It provided indispensable references for preventing and curing cow mastitis in Jilin region. The results were as follows:1. Through the isolation and identification of pathogens, three pathogens were determined: Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Streptococcus agalactiae.2. Through sensitivity test, anthracene Enoxacin, norfloxacin, ampicillin and neomycin were determined to be highly-sensitive drugs.3. According to the clinical verification, effective therapeutic plans suited for curing cow mastitis in Jilin region were made, that is NOR (intramuscular injection), AMP (intramuscular injection), MV (breast infusion), they had remarkable effects.
