Aegilops has provided valuable cytoplasm resources for the wheat heredity improvement. 37 kind of Aegilops cytoplasm alloplasmic lines and 3 nuclear donors were used as the materials, and investigated 7 characters, compared alloplasmic lines and the nuclear donor heredity difference. In addition, the mtDNA diversity among 18 alloplasmic lines with different Aegilops cytoplasms and the common wheat(F94-111) were analyzed using PCR with intron-splice junction primers and long random primers. To promote the efficient utilization of those materials. The results indicated following:1. The effects of different alloplasm on nuclear donors(F94-111,772 and 7859)were quite different, which performanced some effects of different Aegilops cytoplasms on the same characters and the same Aegilops cytoplasms on different characters were positive, others were negtive, some effects were strong and others were weak.2. The effects of the same alloplasm on nucleus donors(F94-111,772 and 7859)were quite different, some effets were positive, others were negtive, some effects were strong and others were weak, which reflected effects of interaction between nuclear and cytoplasm.3. The effects of Aegilops cytoplasms on nuclear donors(F94-111,772 and 7859)which has low self fertility, thousand grain weight, plant height, effective tiller, flag leaf area, net photosynthetic rat and relative Chl. Content of flag leaf were positive and strong; vice versa.4. It is good way to understand genetic diversity of mtDNA of different cytoplasms with intron-splice junction primers and long random primers. It is one effective and exact methods which is used to analyse the diferences among wheat resources.5. The result of cluster analysis showed that some mtDNA of wheats with the same cytoplasm type(D2,Cu and Sv type) genetic distances were relatively narrow; and the dendrogram obtained from cluster analysis could reflect the cytoplasm feature of those common wheat nucleotide substitution lines with different Aegilops cytoplasms.6.mtDNA plays a vital important role on agronomy and Photosynthesis characters, the effects of Aegilops cytoplasms in the same Cluster on F94-111was similar.
