There are abundant cytoplasm resources in wheat submarginal wildgrowing genus, which is benefitful to improve wheat agronomic characters resistibility, and wheat quality. So it were applied for wheat genetic improvement and obtained a few good results. six heterogeneous wheat lines of Chris carrying six Aegilops cytoplasm of different types were used as the materials, Through the method of direct and reverse crosses with four wheat varieties, which were widely planted. the paper investigated the effects of the six Aegilops cytoplasm of different types on Viscosity Parameter of Starch and pentosans content in F1 kernels .The results indicated following :1. Among the cross combinations of female with six Aegilops cytoplasm of different types, compared to the reverse cross combinations,70% cross combinations showed higher peak viscosity,78% cross combinations have higher breakdown,69.5% cross combinations higher final viscosity and 73.5% cross combinations higher trough viscosity and setback Such heterogeneous cytoplasms as Ae.ventricosa﹑Ae. uniaristata﹑Ae. Squarrosa and Ae. bicornis showed universal positive effects on peak viscosity﹑breakdown﹑final viscosity﹑trough viscosity, and setback. among them the most significant effect involed Ae.ventricosa cytoplasm and Ae.Squarrosa cytoplasm In verse, The Ae.cylindrical cytoplasm showed negative effects on them.Unexpected, the Ae.kotschyi cytoplasm also has obvious positive effects on setback, but negative effectson another four viscosity parameter of starch.2. Among the materids with different cytoplasms and malevials with different nuclears, obvious differences were obsersed on five viscosity parameter of starch including peak viscosity﹑breakdown﹑final viscosity﹑trough viscosity, and setback. It dicated that cytoplasms of Aegileps under study presented significant karyon-cytoplasm interactions.3. Under the influence of Aegilops cytoplasm with different types, these five viscosity parameters of starch were the positive correlation coefficients and appeared significant at 1 % probability level. |
